Sabrosa: International Meeting of the LVIN #C Project June, 19 & 20, 2024 | Summer Solstice Festival in LVIN #C (society, social cohesion, cultural heritage and rurality through performing arts and archaeology)
On June 19 and 20, 2024, as part of the international week of the LVIN #C project, the Summer Solstice Festival will take place in the village of Garganta, in the municipality of Sabrosa. The festival will feature participation from colleagues and entities involved in the project, and will include various activities such as the solstice fair with local traditional products, participation from the local community of the village of Garganta, S. Martinho de Anta, and Sabrosa, a guided tour of the archaeological site of the Necrópole das Touças near the village of Garganta, performances and performing arts with the participation of the Filandora Theater Company with a play created for the event, musical entertainment with the group Trouxa Mouxa, and plenty of fun, gatherings, and discussions about the project and rural life. Additionally, there will be the premiere of a part of the New European Bauhaus exhibition, with holographic projections and videos about the NMT project, virtual guides, druids, and heritage promotion in rural areas.
On the following day, June 20, as part of the New European Bauhaus exhibition, there will be a theater performance, a musical moment, and the observation of the Summer Solstice in the alignments of the Medieval Necropolis of Touças at the archaeological site of Touças.
